Jammu, Dec 21
A 4th state level softball and first inter division state championship under 17 will be held at SOS-HG school Gol Gujral, Jammu from 23rd to 25th December,2006.
About 300 players from 11 districts of the state including Srinagar, Anantnag, Baramulla, Budgam, Pulwama, Doda, Udhampur, Rajouri, Kathua besides the hosting team from Jammu will participate in this championship. Besides, about 50 officials from sports and other departments would also attend the mega event.
During the championship, best players would be selected for trials and subsequently will be sponsored for national coaching camp.
As per a statement of General Secretary, J&K Softball Association Mr. C. L. Bhat, all arrangements like boarding lodging, transportation and other arrangements for smooth conduct of the championship have been made. |
