| Walkovers on day-one of inter-college handball | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 17: The annual inter-college competitions turned out to be a formality with opening day witnessing walkovers in both men and women section at University of Jammu ground, here today.
In women’s section, all the three matches ended in walkovers, while in men section teams from Reasi, R S Pura, Paloura and Poonch failed to report the venue.
However, the dejected teams from Degree College Samba and PG Departments had practice sessions.
The Results:
MEN: GDC Samba got walkover GDC Reasi; SPMR College of Commerce got walkover GDC R S Pura; Dental College Seora got walkover GDC Paloura and PG Departments awarded walkover GDC Poonch.
WOMEN: Both PG Departments and GDC Udhampur did not turn up; GCW Parade got walkover GDC Paloura; GCW Parade got walkover Trikuta Degree College.
