Students participate in interactive session organised by Army | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT SRINAGAR, Oct 17: About 1000 students today participated in the interactive session on "Employment Generation Prospects" organised by the Army at Islamic University of Science and Technology in south Kashmir district of Pulwama. The session, held in the University, was attended by career counsellors from Delhi besides locals, a defence ministry spokesman said here this afternoon. He said it was conducted by Victor Force under the aegis of Chinar Corps in coordination with the university. The panelists which included Major General P K Saighal (Retd), Mohammad Ayub Shah, Zubin Malhotra and Aprna S Reddy guided and motivated the young boys and girls about various golden opportunities which are available to them in the country. They also responded to a large number of queries of the students on specific opportunities available for them. This was a unique forum conducted for the benefit of students in South Kashmir. Lt Gen S A Husnain, GOC, Chinar Corps, exhorted the boys and girls to avail this opportunity to shape their future and that of Jammu and Kashmir. Maj Gen Gurdeep Singh, GOC, Victor force, thanked Dr Abdul Rasheed Trag, Vice Chancellor of the University for facilitating the conduct of the Seminar which is a step towards harmonising relations with the youth.
