| Child among 4 killed, 5 injured in Jammu road accidents | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 17: A minor among four people were killed and five injured in a road accident near Ramban.
Four people, including a child, were killed and five injured when a passenger taxi they were travelling in, this morning at around 8:30 am fell into a deep gorge at the banks of Chenab river near Kela Morh along Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Ramban district.
According to police sources the passenger taxi on way from Srinagar to Jammu was hit by another vehicle from behind and it rolled down into the gorge at the bank of Chenab river.
Three people died on the spot and a child died on way to the hospital during rescue operation, sources added.
Police said all five injured were critical and airlifted to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H).
