VAP demands opening of Ayurveda College at Jammu

JAMMU, Oct 17:A meeting of executive body of Vishaw Ayurveda Parishad Jammu chapter was held at Jammu under the chairmanship of Dr Govind Ram Gupta, President VAP.
The members discussed various issues concerning welfare of Ayurveda in Jammu & Kashmir and demanded admission to the BAM and implement the announcement of Union Health Minister regarding opening of Govt Ayurvedic College Jammu,
The members also expressed concern over delay in making the pharmacy and drug testing laboratory functional at Jammu for which funds have been released and buildings already constructed.
Other demands discussed in the meeting included rational transfer policy of the medical officers' free from favoritism & victimization, creation of posts of district officers' in the newly created districts and setting up of ISM faculty on the pattern of health department.
