| HERITAGE MATERIAL TO BE SHIFTED FROM TOSHA KHANA ON | | |

The State government has decided to shift the valuables worth hundreds of crores houses inside Tosa Khana to a strong room at the Civil Secretariat on Saturday.
Deputy Commissioner Jammu Hridesh Kumar Singh said on Thursday the valuable goods would be shifted from Tosha Khana building to civil secretariat strong room on Saturday in view of the security constraints.
He said since the strong room was not kept ready for shifting such a huge list of items it would require sometime to make appropriate arrangements to do so to avoid any further damage to the valuables reminiscent of Dogra rulers.
The state cabinet on Wednesday had taken this decision to shift the goods fromTosha Khana to civil secretariat. It may be mentioned that some archives and few important files were burnt in the devastated fire inside Tosha Khana compex on Decmeber 15.
