NPSU organizes blood donation camp

EARLY TIMES REPORT
Udhampur, Oct 18: : National Panthers Student Union district unit organized blood donation camp at district hospital Udhampur in the memory of student martyrs namely Brij Mohan, Subash Chnader, Gulshan Honda, Sardar Gurcharan Singh, who laid down their lives in struggle for opening of separate agriculture university for Jammu in front of science college Jammu on October 18,1966.

The camp was inaugurated by Balwant Singh Mankotia MLA Udhampur, District Medical Superintendent Chander Parkesh & V.P Sharma honorary secretary district Red Cross Society was also present on the occasion the first donor of this camp were Sardar Amarjeet Singh & Rashpal Singh both students of class- B.A-II.

The main organizer of this camp were students leader Samnik Bhasin, Mohinder Singh, Sagar Singh, Love Deep Singh, Shekar Sharma, Mohinder Singh, Ankit Sansoon, Vinod Sharma, Mudessar Mohd president of college, Krishan Singh, Kanik Jandial.

About forty students of P.G College (Boys) Udhampur and Boys Higher Secondary School Udhampur donated their blood.

While interacting the media persons Mankotia appreciated all the students who donate their blood to save one precious life, he said that he him self have donated his blood nineteen times & still ready to donate blood any time to save the human life.

Samnik Bhasin announced that national Panthers student union will organize these types of camps in future also.

The students who donated blood were Amrarjeet Singh, Rahul, Kapil Kumar, Anuj Kalsotra, Arjun Singh, Sunny Anthal, Arun Kumar, Pardeep Singh, Ajay Sharma, Pawan Sharma, Vicky Sharma, Brij Lal, Rashpal Sigh, Amrit Pal, Sahil Sharma, Sanjay Singh, Joginder Singh, Anil Kumar, Abishake Mehra, Vikram Singh, Atul Sharma, Rajinder Singh, Balwan Singh , Sham Singh, Rakesh war singh, Kapil Kumar, Arjun Singh, Pwan Ajay Sharma, Vickey Sharma and Brij Lal.
