J&K Mechanical Engineers Association hold meet | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, October 18 : A meeting of central body office bearer of all J&K Mechanical Engineers Association held today in its head office MED Complex Bikram Chowk Jammu under the command of Er. R K Kohli its president in which the mechanical engineers highlighted the burning demands of the Engineering community.
The engineers present in the meeting urged the Chief Minister of J&K State for fulfilling of vacant posts of superintending engineers mechanical.
Er. Kohli while highlighting the demands of engineering community urged the authorities for creation of the recommended 05 posts of Executive engineers, 30 posts of assistant Executive Engineer, 20 posts of Assistant Engineer and 5 posts of Junior Engineer Mechanical in newly created Districts.
He demanded regularization of Mechanical Engineers from Assistant Engineer to Chief Engineer level by giving them back dated effect, running grades for engineers at all level, enhancement of fixed traveling allowance from existing Rs. 30 to 1000 per month, creation of one number posts of Assistant Executive Engineer Mechanical in all the Roads and Buildings Division of J&K State.
Er N. N Thusu chairman of the association hailed the State Government for promotions of Assistant Engineers and Assistant Executive Engineers to the level of Assistant Executive Engineer and Executive Engineer level vide Government Order No. 384 of 2011 Dtd: - 13-10-2011 and No. 383 of 2011 dated: - 13-10-2011 thereby creating a Mechanical Division in Kishtwar among the six divisions mechanical which are under consideration of the Government.
Prominent among those who attended the meeting included Er T.R Sharma , Er. Ajay Khajuria, Er. Rajesh Sharma , Er. Ajay Sharma , Er. Ravinder Krandu , Er. K.K. Chopra , Er. Shiv Darshan Gupta.
