Stop illegal mining around Jwala ji shrine : Prem Nath Bhat Memorial Trust | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, October 18 : Prem Nath Bhat Memorial Trust, the nodal agency for Kashmiri Shrines and Temples Bill is highly agonized to learn about the grave desecration being made to the holy shrine of Jwala Ji at Khrew Kashmir.
The Trust was aghast to know that the Shrine land has been reportedly sold/leased and illegal mining using JCB's is being done to undermine the Shrine.
They even said that there is danger of the Shrine falling down. The community of Kashmiri Pandits, at large, suspects that more sinister elements are conspiring to decimate this shrine, sacred not only to the Hindus of Kashmir, but that of the whole country.
It has also come to the notice of the Kashmiri Pandit Community and the Trust that the Shamshan Ghat and the Shishu Samadhis at Khrew have also been desecrated and the vehicles and the JCBs etc are allowed to ply over them. This is a serious violation of our religious creed and calculated to hurt our feelings.
The Prem Nath Bhat Memorial Trust demands that the Government takes immediate cognizance of the issue and orders to stop the illegal mining around the Jwala Ji shrine. They demanded thast the sale/lease/ Banderbant of the Shrine land be effectively stopped and the desecration of the Shamshan Ghat and the Shishu Samadhis be immediately stopped
The P N Bhat Memorial Trust demands that the Government must ensure that this holy shrine is not undermined under one pretext or the other.
