Board putting efforts to make 3rd Jammu Marathon, a success

JAMMU, October 18 : Jammu Board of Development for Sports in India launched the publicity material of 3rd Jammu Marathon in front of media persons. In a Press Conference at Jammu Registration Tickets were also shown to the media.
Addressing the media persons, Chairman of the Board's Organizing Committee, Anil Gupta said that the Board of Development for Sports in India (BDS I) is leaving no stone unturned to make sure that a minimum of 25 thousand people participate in the Marathon. In this regard, Volunteers have already been, activated across all parts of Jammu region.

Anil Gupta (Annu) told the reporters that the registration for 3rd Jammu Marathon has been kept at a very low price of Rs. 100/- only so that every body can register for the Marathon.

Anil Gupta disclosed that the Board authorities are in contact with some bollywood stars and it is very much possible that a couple of them may join the Jammuites in the 3rd Jammu Marathon..

Amit Sethi director, Board of Development for the Sports in India said that the 3rd Jammu Marathon is being held to remember the great heroes of the state such as H.H. Maharaja Hari Singh, Gen. Zorawar Singh, Dinu Bhai Pant, Pt., Prem Nath Dogra and K.L. Sehgal etc”.

He said that it is for this reason that the slogan of 3rd Jammu Marathon is "Run for Jammu Run for Pride".

He thanked All India Radio's Yuvawani 100.3 FM for spreading the message of 3rd Jammu Marahon across all parts of the state.

Surjeet Singh Chib, Sagar Gupta, Sanjay Kulshrestha, Sanjay Gupta, Veerain Kaul, Prince Chandel, Rohit Sharma and Prashant Puri were among the others present at the venue.
