| JJSF fast in memory of 1966 martyrs concludes | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 18:
The three day fast Jammu Joint Students’ Federation to commemorate and pay homage to the martyrs of 1966 concluded here today at Shaheedi Sthal, GGM Science College.
The fast was observed to pay homage to Brij Mohan, Subash Chander, Gurucharn Singh and Gulshan Honda.
Prof RD Sharma, Dean Academic Affairs, Jammu University and Dr. Meenakshi Kilam- Director Distance Education, Jammu University offered a glass of juice to break the fast of JJSF activists comprising Sahil Singh (President of JJSF- GGM Science College), Dheeraj Sharma (Vice-President of JJSF-GGM Science College), Sahil Chowdhary, Irfan Khanji.
R D Sharma and Dr Meenakshi Kilam appreciated the role of students especially JJSF, who carried out this struggle since long. They stressed for sincerity, honest, and dedication in the efforts of students.
Rajinder Jamwal, former President of JJSF also visited the Sheedhi Sthal and paid homage to martyrs.
