Pawar asks Cong workers to remain united | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT SRINAGAR, Oct 18 Pradesh Mahila Congress president Indu Pawar attended a meeting of Mahila workers at Village Sumbal Afaz, Bandipora. The meeting was largely attended by women and was organized by Mahila Congress senior leader Sayida.
Indu Pawar addressed the workers and enjoined upon them to remain united and help women folk to curb the evils of society and educated women that they should come in large numbers to Congress Party as Congress is the only secular party which is concerned with the peace, harmony and development of country.
Congress has a history of 125 years at its back and has always worked for the betterment of all the classes of society and Aam Admi.
Also, she emphasized that under the leadership of Prof Soz in J &K, Congress is helping people towards better development and living. She emphasized on the fact that women role in society is utmost important and reflects the growth of nation. She reminded people that Congress is working hard towards introduction of 33% quota for women and it requires active participation of women folk all around the State.
