JAMMU, Oct 18:
College Teachers Association (CTA) presidential candidate Prof. Mukhtyar Singh
Saini Department of Chemistry G.G.M. Science College, Jammu today released his election manifesto.Addressing a press conference here today, Prof Mukhtyar said that he would concentrate for implementation of UGC recommendations including release of arrears, creation of Professors’ posts in colleges, work load under UGC norms, enhancement of retirement age, registration of CTA, placement and promotion, Separate College Teachers Welfare Fund account under the Control of Nodal College Principal and deputation of college teachers in premier organizations with other related issues of the community.
He appealed the community to ignore those candidates who have been already tested in the previous presidium and vote for a new change.
Prof. Saini hoped that election will be held in free and fair manner.
