T-20 Cricket tournament concludes | PCC beats RCC, lifts trophy | | EARLY TIMES REPORT KATHUA, Oct 18: T-20 Cricket tournament organized by 121 Bn CRPF concluded here today. The final match of the tournament was played between Reasi Cricket Club (RCC) and Poonch Cricket Club (PCC). Chasing a target of 131 runs, Poonch Cricket Club (PCC) reached the target in 19.4 overs after loosing 8 wickets.
The winning team PCC received cash prize of Rs 15000 while runners-up RCC got Rs 10000 along with trophies and mementoes.
On the occasion MP Lal Singh was the chief guest, who appreciated the CRPF for conducting a cricket tournament in Kathua.
Speaking on the occasion, Cmdt 121 BnV.S Joon said that the main motive to hold the tournament is to spread message of sports activities among the youth of the society which is most important and fundamental asset and future of the nation.
