The menace of vehicle lifting is backing Jammu University (JU) Campus with the stealing of a scooter from the campus by some unknown miscreants.
According to reports, Rajesh Sharma, a final semester student of MCA Department has packed his scooter bearing registration no. JK02R-2458 near fountain. But on his return in afternoon he found the scooter missing from the area. He immediately informed the JU security and later also lodged a F.I.R in Warehouse Police Post.
The incident has once again raised question mark over the functioning of JU’s security apparatus
