JAMMU | DEC 21 Trikuta Degree College lifted the Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh Memorial Cricket trophy by defeating Jammu College of Physiotherapy in final being played at G.G.M. Science College Ground, here today. Trikuta Degree College outplayed Jammu College of Physiotherapy in every corners of the game and won the match by 8 Wickets. After winning the toss, JCP elected to bat first and was bowled out on 32 runs in just 8.2 over. JCP batting collapsed and seven batsmen were unable to open their account. C’ Love Sharma by his superb bowling claimed 9 wickets in 4.2 over. Trikuta Degree College chased the target by losing only two wickets in just 4.2 over. C’Love Sharma declared man of the match while R.S. Singh and A.P. Dogra were the umpires in the match. R.K. Parhetra and B.B Verma were the official scorer. Abdul Rehman Tickroo (MLC) was the Chief Guest in the prize distribution ceremony other prominent present on the occasion were Prof. R.L. Sharma, Principal GGM Science College, Raviesh Sharma, Editor-in-Chief, The Shadow, etc. The tournament was organized by all India Students’s Federation in collaboration with Roshni Cricket Academy while Akash Manhas, Vimal Manhas, Ravinder Thakur, Anil Kotwal, Mairaj, Salman, Mohsan, Kuldeep, Kumar, Arjun, Vikas Manhas and Narinder Singh Manhas were the organizers.
