| What do " Kashmiri Separatists" expect from Anna Hazaare | | Labelling Anna as RSS man only to please Congress.....? | | SHAFIQ MIR | 10/19/2011 12:44:01 AM |
| Two days ago, I was surprised to see the statements of prominent Kashmiri separatist leaders particularly Syed Ali Shah Geelani and Mohammad Yaseen Malik saying that India's anti corruption hero Anna Hazaare wears ( RSS Niker) underwear inside his Gandhian dress . This was their reaction over Anna Hazaare's statement in which he had said that Kashmir is an integral part of India . In fact , Anna had clarified his position after he landed in a controversy due to the statement of his team member Supreme court advocate Parshant Bhushan in which Bhushan had said that India should conduct plebiscite in Kashmir and let the Kashmiries to decide their fate. I am unable to understand that what Kashmiri separatist leaders wanted and expected from Anna Hazaare and he did against their expectations . I am also unable to understand that how they ( Separatist leaders ) labeled Anna as RSS man . " Kashmir is an integral part of India" is till date India's official policy and claim, not RSS and BJP alone . When Anna team member Parshant Bhushan gave this statement favoring plebiscite in Kashmir, the first reaction against him came from veteran Congress leader Dig Vijay Singh , not from BJP or RSS quarters . Though later , he was followed by RSS and BJP men also, but why alone Anna was labeled as RSS man , why not Congress man . When Congress and RSS have similar stand on Kashmir then why alone he is blamed by Kashmiri leaders .Is Congress having different policy about Kashmir ? NO . The Congress party is also having same policy and claim about Kashmir what Anna said. I am not here to discuss that whether Anna Hazaare said right or wrong about Kashmir , my point is only that whatever he said , he said on the lines of collective policy of India and it is almost unanimous policy of all political parties in India. None of the political party has as yet declared Kashmir as disputed territory , though some of
them press for dialogue with Kashmiri people but that doesn't mean they have declared Kashmir as disputed state . If it is India's national and collective policy, then why Anna was attacked as he has committed something like " grave sin". Can I say that by labeling Anna as RSS man the Kashmir separatist leaders have also spoken Congress language because they have also been saying like this . Can I say by, indirectly supporting Congress view about Anna , Hurriyat leader Yaseen Malik has also made his position suspicion as he is already under clouds . The most unfortunate part of Kashmir has always been that Kashmiri leaders expect support the their cause even from those against whom they are fighting . Either they are unable to understand or they are making their people fool . By knowing that Anna Hazaare is first true National list Indian then any thing else . Even , in his times , Mahatma Gandhi never gave his final verdict about Kashmir . Moreover, Anna Hazzare is neither a human rights activist nor a political ideologue of India , he has a single line agenda of eradicating corruption from the system he is living in . His whole of the movement is known as Anti corruption movement and he has succeeded lot in his movement . His unfortunate part is that he is targeted from all quarters . For instance , Congress says Anna is BJP and Congress man , but interestingly Anna is mostly targeted by BJP ally Shiv Sena . Shive Sena Supreme Bala Sahib Thakery has many times targeted him . And it is also fact that the first attack Anna had made on any government , it was BJP Shiv Sena government in Mahrashtra . I think instead of expecting territorial liberation movement from Anna Hazaare , the kashmiri leaders must invite him to get the people liberated from corruption. If he refuses to launch his movement in Jammu Kashmir then we can say that he has no interest in Muslim majority states . We have to do nothing with the hollow secularism slogan of those who have sucked our blood only in the name of secularism . And I think an honest man can never be communal , because honesty means to deliver justice among the human beings.I think Anna Hazaare should not be dragged in political controversies, instead he should be kept only for anti corruption movement . And Hurriyat leaders of Kashmir must also shun the policy of looking towards outsiders for their so called ( Freedom ) . For decades they have been working on behest of Pakistan and advocating the participation of Pakistan in Kashmir dialogue , but once again Pakistan has washed its hands from Kashmir mess leaving the Kashmiri Hurriyat leaders at cross roads . And Pakistan has declared India as it favorite country with out taking the Kashmiri separatist leaders into confidence who had been on war with india in the past two decades on behest of Pakistan only . Now Pakistan is asking Kashmir Huriyat leaders to go for deal with India and close this chapter for a while . My point is only that none of the Indian leader of any sector can go against the India's Kashmir stand and Anna is no exception , so labeling him RSS man is only an attempt to please Congress .
