| Inter –Collegiate Kabaddi Tournament enters day 2 GDC Udhampur, GDC Poonch, TDC Jammu enter quarter finals | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 19:Three matches were played on the second day of ongoing Inter-College Kabaddi Tournament for men organized by Government Degree College Udhampur.
The matches scheduled for today were played between GDC Kathua and GDC Udhampur, GDC Thanamandi and Trikuta Degree College Jammu, GDC Poonch and GDC Khilotran.
GDC Poonch defeated GDC Khilotran by (27-16) Trikuta Degree College Jammu outplayed GDC Thanamandi by (47-31) whereas the team of GDC Udhampur trounced GDC Kathua by (67-16).
Principal of the host College Dr Nutan K Resutra was the chief guest on the occasion who also witnessed the matches for the encouragement of the participants.
Admiring the teams for their sportsman spirit, he urged the players to play the game for the sake of game in its true spirit. All the staff and students of the college were present on this occasion. The entire campus came alive by the enthusiasm and excitement of the players and the spectators.
