JKNPP appeals to celebrate Accession Day on Oct 27

Jammu, Oct 19: Bhim Singh, chairman, National Panthers Party and his team toured several areas in the districts of Rajouri and Jammu mainly Kalakote, Akhnoor, R.S. Pora, Suchetgarh, Dabler, Arnia and along LoC and International border.
The chairman appealed the people of J&K to celebrate Accession Day of J&K with the union of India like Deepawali on 27th October, 2011, the 64th anniversary of the state accession with the Union of India by Maharaja Hari Singh who was the only competent authority.
The people’s delegation comprising panches,sarpanches and political activists complained that there is no governance in the areas, infiltration from Pakistan side remains unchecked and the life and liberty of the people is under constraint threat from Pakistan side.
Addressing the people in the border areas Bhim Singh praised the spirits of the people in the borders areas to uphold the old traditions of the composite culture and unity of the people.
He accused Pakistani leaders for trying to exploit the local people in the name of religion which he said shall not make any impression on the people.
Bhim Singh also accused some members of Anna Hazare’s team to speak the language of terrorists and ISI knowing well that people of J&K are secular, nationalist, patriotic and shall not allow Pakistan to exploit them any more.
Bhim Singh also accused Pakistan for harassing the citizens of J&K in Gilgit and Baltistan.
He demanded referendum in Gilgit and Baltistan which has been illegally and forcibly occupied by Pakistan as its 5th Province against the wishes and aspirations of the people.
The Panthers Party team was joined S. Daljit Singh, state vice president, Syed Rafiq Shah, MLC, president, Young Panthers, Anita Thakur and H.C. Jalmeria, advocate state general secretaries, Faqir Nath, ex-MLA, provincial president, Raghubir Billowria, provincial vice president, Shanker Singh Chib, provincial secretary, S.
