| Volleyball tournament under CAP held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Bhaderwah, Oct 19: The volleyball tournament under Civic Action Programme was organized by Jammu and Kashmir Police here today in sports stadium Bhaderwah .
In the event twenty teams of various schools, wards, villages and degree college Bhaderwah are participating.
ASP Bhaderwah Roop Raj along with SDPO Jameel Ahmed, 2IC CRPF 33 Battalion Arvind K Singh, tehsildar Sudershan Kumar and SHO Surinder Rao inaugurated two day volleyball tournament in the presence of large number of people .
While addressing the inaugural function, ASP Roop Raj highlighted various activities being carried out by J&K police in Bhaderwah sub division for the benefit of youth under its Civic Action Programme.
He also informed that sports events are being organized by J&K Police across the state to boost the morale of sports lovers and promotion of sports in the state. The opening match of the tournament was played between CRPF team and Degree College Bhaderwah .A large number of prominent citizens of adjoining areas witnessed the function included Mohd Iqbal , Shabir Ahmed , Mushtaq Ahmed Batt , Majid Malik , Raiz Ahmed Khan , Kabir Malik and others who appreciated the such step of police and extended whole hearted support .
