PDP demands Indo-Pak trade through Bobya border

KATHUA, Oct 19:The district president of Peoples’ Democratic Party Surinder Singh has demanded to take immediate steps to begin the trade between India and Pakistan through Bobya border in district Kathua.
Addressing a press conference here today, Singh appealed the Prime Minister to initiate the process to felicitate trading between India and Pakistan through Bobya border.
He said that from the business point of view district Kathua has lot of potential to flourish the trade between India and Pakistan if the union government takes effective and sincere initiatives to open the Bobya border.
PDP leader said if the Kashmiris are allowed to have the business relations through Indo-Pak border in Kashmir then why not the people of Kathua to get such relation with Pak traders.
He also urged the Punjab Government to provide the jobs as per its agreement on Ranjit Sagar Dam.
