Cabinet approves Super time Scale of 11 KAS Officers

SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 19: Cabinet which met here today met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister ,Mr. Omar approved the creation of 32 posts in Youth Services and Spots Department in the newly created districts of Samba, Reasi, Ramban, Kishtwar, Shopian, Bandipora, Kulgam and Ganderbal, which includes 8 District Youth Services and Sports Officers, 8 Physical Education Teachers, 8 junior assistants, 8 ground man-cum-orderly one for each district.
The cabinet also approved Super Time Scale (PB-4: Rs 37,400-67000 GP RS 10,000) of the J&K Administrative Services (KAS) with effect from 12.09. 2011 to 11 Special Scale Officers which include Hilal Ahmad Parray, Kifayat Hussain Rizvi, Mrs. Devi Lata, Mrs. Chandra Gupta, Ajay Khajuria, Tsering Angchok, Sufi Mohammad Yousuf, Shafiq Ahmad Raina, Tariq Ahmad Mir, Mohammad Rafi, and Qadri Hafizullah.
The cabinet also approved grant of one and half day’s pay (Basic pay per month) as an incentive to the field staff of PHE department (2nd phase) in lieu of working on Holidays and Sundays w.e.f. April 1, 2011. This proposal was approved with the amendment that the incentives of one and half day’s pay be given in two equal installments-one installment (50 percent of one and half day’s pay) to take effect immediately and the remaining 50 percent to take effect from the beginning of the next financial year.
It also approved creation of one supernumerary post of Deputy Controller Legal Metrology Department in the pay band of Rs 15600-39100+GP 6600 for a period of one month w.e.f. 01.09.2010 to 30.09.2010 for the regular promotion of H.D. Bamba.
The cabinet also approved modalities for stipendiary mode of recruitment in Non-Gazetted categories and strengthening of Accounts and Treasuries Organization and Directorate of Audit and Inspections – Creation of a total of 98 additional posts in the Directorate of Accounts and Treasuries and a total of 15 additional posts in Directorate of Audit and Inspections.
It also approved implementation of the computerization programme of the State Treasuries under Mission Mode Project (MMP) under National e-Governance Programme (NEGP) at a cost of Rs 34.06 crore over a period of five years including project component of Rs 25.50 crore to be implemented during 2011-12 and 2012-13 and cost of operating the project for next three years till 2015-16 as per DPR prepared by NIC and approved by the Ministry of Finance, Government of India.
The cabinet also approved the Jammu and Kashmir Eviction of Un-authorized occupants from Common land Scheme, 2011.
