PHEEUF hails two and half day's ex-gratia pay | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Oct 20:A meeting of PHE Employees United Front was held here today to discuss the government orders issued recently regarding sanction of remaining one and half day's ex-gratia pay in two equal instalments in favour of field staff of PHE Department. The meeting which held under the presidium of Bakshi Singh, Subash Verma, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Vijay Luthra, Kartar Chand Dubay, Swaran Singh, Rattan Doshi, Kulwant Singh, Raman Kumar, Kewel Verma welcomed the decision of Minister for PHE Irrigation and FC Department who extended the benefits of two and half day's ex-gratia pay in favour of his employees. PHE Employees United Front further thanked to the Chief Minister and Finance Minister, Chief Secretary and other Cabinet Ministers for resolving this long pending issue like two and half day's pay. The PHE Employees United Front further urged the Minister for PHE to fulfill his commitments regarding other pending demands such as consideration of all the 9317 employees (upto Nov 2005) of Daily rated workers, CP Workers for the purpose of regularization of their wages and granting' status of Daily rated workers to them. They further demanded wages for all sorts of workers alias Rs 125 per day in favour of 13,957 workers.
