BJP reaction to proposal of talks with separatists | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Oct 20:Commenting on UPA Government’s reported proposal of talks with Kashmir separatists and the statement by Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz, Pradesh Congress President, that his party will be a facilitator for talks between the Government and separatists , BJP National Executive Member and chief spokesperson of the State, Dr Jitendra Singh said that his party has always opposed compromising J&K's relationship with the Indian union. However, within the frame- work of constitution, any citizen of India has the right to enter into a dialogue with Government of India but such a move should not send a direct or indirect message that there is any attempt to compromise or enter into any deal with separatists in violation of the sovereignty of India, he added. Dr Jitendra Singh reiterated that BJP did not favour any dilution in status or relationship of J&K vis a vis Union of India or any compromise on full final integration of the State with Indian Republic.
