Municipal Employees Union held meet

JAMMU, October 20 : A meeting of Municipal Employees Union of Jammu Municipal Corporation was held under the President ship of Rohit George , President of the Union in the premises of Town Hall complex.
In this meeting the union demanded release of 7% D.A. which is due w.e.f July 2011 in favour of State Government employees as a Diwali Gift. They said that the price of the essential commodities is also hiking day by day and it has become difficult for the salary class employees to feed their families and the central Government has released the said hike in DA.
The Union requested the Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah to intervene and give instructions to Finance Department for the delivery of said gift in time to the State Government Employees.

Those who were present on the occasion were Koushal Kumar, Jeevan Singh, Gopal Krishan, S. Amarjeet Singh Rakesh Kumar, Sushil Singh, Ravinder Bhat, Jasbir Singh, Sat Pal, Ramesh Kumar, Rajesh Gupta, Ashwani Sharma, Kamaldeep Singh, Ramesh Bhagat, Pranav Jamwal, Ajay Verma and Vijay Kumar.
