| Painting Competition on “preservation of heritage for the next generation” held | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu , Oct 20
Rinchen Zangpo Art Gallery, University of Jammu in collaboration under the month long training programme Pratibha 2011 in GDC, Samba. The topic of the competition was “preservation of heritage for the next generation” 40 students of the college participated in the competition. The main objective of the competition was to culture and heritage and under one month long event. University of Jammu is organizing such kind of activities in different colleges of Jammu Region.
Prof Savitri Sharma principal of the colleges encouraged the students to participate in such activities and explore their hidden talent Deepak Sharma event coordinator of Parthia 2011 and Dr Sandhya Gupta were the adjudicator. The programme was coordinated by Prof Anupama and Prof Preeti Mahajan the first prize was won by Manisha Kapoor, Nisha Bala and Bharti Jyoti won the 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively. The consolation prizes were given to Sukhwinder Kour and Shallu Verma.
