| PDP pays tribute to Gayoor | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, Oct 21: Paying tribute to the late Ghulam Rasool Gayoor a noted worker and poet on his 6th death anniversary PDP today recalled his services to the society and the Kashmiri literature.
A meeting was held at the party office in which glowing tributes was paid to the late Gayoor. He was martyred on this day in very tragic circumstances. His killing had evoked wide spread condemnation from the society and caused a deep sense of outrage and loss among the literary community of the state.
Fatiha was offered for peace of the late Gayoor and sympathies expressed with the family especially his son Showkat Ahmad Gayoor who is General Secretary of the youth wing of the PDP.
