| 2-Day workshop on job affairs inaugurated | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Oct 21: A two day Workshop on the job affairs was inaugurated by S.S. Bijral, IPS, Retd. IGP.
The Workshop is being organized by the Placement, Career Counselling and Information Center of Govt.M.A,M,.College in collaboration with Department of Lifelong Learning, University of Jammu
Inaugurating the Workshop, S.S.Bijral who was the Chief Guest on the occasion appreciated the efforts of the organizers and the students.
He gave the important tips to the students to be a good human being and also overcome the various challenges in life.
Ajeet Angral, Principal of the college in his welcome address said that the main objective of the workshop is to provide a forum to the students to exchange ideas and information about different types of career prospects.
Raj Shree Dhar, Convener , Career Counselling Center in her key note address focused upon the theme of the workshop in career exploration.
In the first session, Rakesh Maini, Chief Manager, J & K BANK was the resource person. He spoke in length on various career options available in banking.
In the second session, Balwant Singh SDM, LIC and P.S.Nijjar the Marketing Manager were the resource persons. In their presentation, they explained in detail about the career options and functioning of LIC.
