| Objections raised by players regarding non-eligibility of players | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, October 21 : : On day 4 of Inter-College Kabaddi Tournament for men organized by Government Degree College Udhampur, semi final matches were scheduled to be played between MAM College and GDC Rajouri and the host GDC Udhampur and P G Department MAM College trounced GDC Rajouri by 33-20 whereas GDC Udhampur got a walk over as the P G Department refused to play, when the documents were not found in order, despite three calls by the technical officials deputed by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, J&K Government for the said tournament.
On objections being raised by the players of various teams regarding non-eligibility of some players the supporting documents were verified by the officials and only 7 players of PG Department were found eligible to participate.
Despite three calls given under norms the team did not enter the court hence implying a walk over to the opposite team.The final match for the title claim shall be played tomorrow between GDC Udhampur & MAM College.
