APHCC holds meet with constituent parties; resolve to continue agitation

JAMMU, October 21 : : The All Party Hindu Coordination Committee held an interactive session with all of its constituent parties as well as new members from Rajouri, Poonch, Doda, Kishtwar, Udhampur, Kathua, Sambha, Ramban etc and more parties from Jammu city to formulate the future course of agitation in favour of its 6-Point charter of demands if the government does not initiate talks after deadline of November 16.

APHCC also reviewed the work done after the recent indefinite hunger strike by Vinod Pandit and Sunita Sharma was suspended on the assurance of RS Chib, and expressed satisfaction over the mass contact programme launched by the party on October 16.

APHCC members resolved to take the agitation to its logical end and continue to fight till all the six demands of its charter are accomplished with stress on the passing of the temple bill as All J&K Hindu temples and Shrines Bill in the legislative Assembly on the pattern of Gurudwara Prabhandak Board.

The members also expressed their heartfelt thanks to Jammuites and the Press Media for supporting their indefinite hunger strike for ten days and hoped that same love and affection would continue from the media and other social and political organisations in future.

APHCC decided to further strengthen its mass awareness and mass contact programmes to involve as many organisations.

Prominent among those who spoke in the meeting of All Parties Hindu Coordination Committee (APHCC) include Vikas Deewan, General Secretary Shiv Sena Hindustan, Rajiv Mahajan, State President Sri Ram Sena, Dr Subash Gupta, President and Thakur Karnail Chand, General Secretary Dharmarth Trust Sudhar Sangarsh Samiti, Preetam Sharma, General Secretary J&K Kranti Dal, Advocate Arun Kandroo, General Secretary APMCC, Sunita Sharma of Rural Women Foundation, MK Koul, of Bharatya Chetanya Party (BCP), Jyoti Bala etc.
