| Three held in excise raids | | |

Continuing its drive against the menace of distillation of illicit liquor and its sale, SHO R S Pura conducted raids during the intervening night of Dec 20-21 under the supervision of SSP Border and SDPO R S Pura.
During these raids, three persons identified as Kaka son of Rattan Lal of RS Pura, Baba Ram son of Manga Ram of Purana Pind and Satish Kumar son of Gurdev resident of Chhatisgarh at present Chowalla RS Pura were arrested under section 50-A of Excise Act.
