NIA claims breakthrough in Delhi HC blast
Conspiracy was hatched in Bangladesh’

srinagar, Oct 21: In a major breakthrough National Investigative Agency (NIA) probing September 7 Delhi High Court blast has finally managed to unveil some names among the foreign militants who in association with a Kishtwar resident, Dr Wasim Akram Malik executed the September 7 Delhi High Court blast. The blast left 16 persons dead and 80 others wounded.
According to well-placed sources, the name of a Bangladeshi Major, who deserted the army in 2009 has come to fore during Wasim Akram's interrogation. Three other Bangla nationals identified as Haroon Bahi, Bilal Bahi and Major Yasir have also been found involved in the blasts. The NIA is looking for other Bangla nationals who actively participated in a meeting in Bangladesh.
Sources said the meeting entrusted the job of executing the blast to Wasim Akram. The sources said that it was Major Yasir who prepared and fitted the IED in suit case and handed over the same to Dr. Wasim Akram Malik for execution of the blast.
The sources said that NIA informed the government on each and every development about this case. "We inform the government about each and every development about this case, since there is involvement of people belongs from different nations and to track them, NIA requires the help of Home department as well of the MEA." NIA sources said.
Meanwhile sources said that the name of another local Hizb militant from Kishtwar also surfaced in the ongoing investigation. The sources said besides, Junaid Akram Malik, Amir Kamal@Akram and Jahangir Saroori, the name of Shakir@Chota Hafiz area commander of HM militant outfit in Kishtwar also came to fore.
Sources said that Chota Hafiz also participated in the meeting between Dr. Wasim Malik, two Bangladeshi, Juniad Akram Malik and Amir Kamal at the time when Wasim received the explosive consignment from HM. Earlier it was presumed that Hafiz is the code name of Amir Abbas Dev presently in Judicial custody at Delhi for allegedly playing his role in sending the terror email claiming the responsibility of the blast from a local cyber cafe in Kishtwar District to various media houses.
In another development NIA after seizing five mobile phones owned by Wasim Akram Malik, his relatives and other accused. The NIA, sources said was in the process of retrieving data from these mobile numbers. The sources said that NIA is hopeful that they will manage to get the access to all those SIM cards used by the militants to remain in touch with each other during execution of blast.
The sources said that scrutiny of the mobile phones will also help to trace out ISD calls, which provides a major clue about the international network of militant organization who are active to destabilize the peace and tranquility in India. The sources said that besides retrieving deleted data, analysis of the seized mobile will also provide the details about the mobile set used to trigger the blast outside Delhi court. "Our experts are looking for change of circuit among the seized mobiles if any to facilitate the blast through timer device." NIA sources said.
Army and police in Marwah area of Kishtwar District have launched a major operation against the Hizb militants involved in Delhi High Court blast. The sources said that after developing the specific information about presence of Junaid Akram Malik and his associates in Khalpathan area of Renie Nallah in Marwah, a major search operation was launched in the suspected area to either apprehend or to neutralize them. The sources said that the area of Khalpathan is surrounded by dense forest area with tuff mountainous terrain, thus gives immunity to the hiding militants, who were still at large.
