CCI calls upon Koul, discuss problems

Jammu, Oct 22: In connection with some complaints from different members of Chamber of Commerce & Industry regarding commercial tax department a delegation led by Y.V. Sharma president CCI called upon R.K. Koul Additional Commissioner VAT and discussed all the problems regarding seizure of document, under valuation and other problems in detail.
Koul gave very patient hearing to all problems and assured that the officers of Commercial tax department will always be facilitators to the dealers.
He further assured that he himself is of the firm opinion that any dealer should not face any type of harassment at the hands of the officers of the Commercial tax department.
He was kind enough to issue instructions to all the concerned CTO’s to be friendly with dealers and not to disturb the trade during these festive days.
Certain cases which were pending in the department un-disposed were disposed off and the documents were released. The delegation was comprised of Tara Chand , senior vice president CCI and Deepak Aggarwal treasurer CCI.
