JAMMU, OCTOBER 22- In order to carry out the thickening of conductor near Canal Grid Station, the power supply to Satwari, Nai Basti, part of Shastri Nagar, Ashok Nagar, Chatha, Digiana, Sanjay Nagar, Narwal Pain, Belicharana, Airport, Military Hospital, Air Force, MES Satwari and Industry feeder Gangyal from 33KV Canal-Satwari Line and Canal-Chatha line emanating from 132/33 KV Grid Station Canal will remain affected on October 23, 2011 (Sunday) from 8.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.
Meanwhile, In order to complete the stringing work of 220 KV S/C Gladni-Udhampur transmission line from Gladni end, the shutdown of 220 KV Salal-II circuit shall be availed thereby resorting to rotational curtailment in the areas include twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch, Feedel No. G-2, G-3, G-4, G-5 and G-6 feeding Gandhinagar, Nanaknagar, Trikutanagar, Sainik Colony, Bathindi, Narwal, Dhounthli, Residency areas, Vijaypur, Jakh, Kartholl, Purmandal, Birpur, part of Industrial areas and surrounding areas on October 23 and 24, 2011 from 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
The shut down shall be subjected to fair weather conditions.
