| Simula XI, Ishar XI win ties in DPL T20 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 22: Simula XI and Ishar XI won their respective matches in the second round of the ongoing Diwali Premier League T20 Championship at MA Stadium here today.
In the first match of the day, Simula XI defeated Doordarshan XI by a margin of 31 runs. Batting first, Simula XI made 130 runs losing all their wickets, which, in reply, Doordarshan could not chase and exhausted their quota of 20 overs for 99 runs losing five wickets. Mohit was declared man of the match.
Later, in another match, Ishar XI outplayed Police XI by two wickets. Earlier, batting first, Police XI made 142 runs. Batting second, Ishar XI chased the target in 19.5 overs for the loss of eight wickets. For his match winning innings, Atul was adjudged man of the match.
