| Symposium on ‘ Terrorism : a global problem’ organized | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, October 22 : : Tehsil Information and Public Relation Centre, Kathua organized a symposium on the subject “ Terrorism : a global problem” at Vir Sawarkar Higher Secondary School here at Basohli .
SDM Basohli Ashok Kumar Sharma was the chief guest while Principal of the School , Adarsh Arora presided over the function.
While expressing their views on the topic students said that terrorism is now become a global problem as it has spread over all over the world and thousands of innocent people become victims of this global threat.
They also threw light on mayhems resulting from deadly terrorist strikes killing scores of precious lives.
While speaking on the occasion Chief Guest SDM Basohli thanked the information department for organizing such type of symposium so as to provide a platform to the students to express their views on the current issues.
13 students of the school participated in the symposium.
Neha Verma bagged first prize, while Nazia Rajput and Sonali Sharma secured second and third prize respectively. On behalf of Information Department Kudeep Abrol thanked the school administration for its valuable cooperation.
