| BSF School organizes semi-classical, folk dance competition | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 22: BSF Senior Secondary School Jammu today organized a musical- cum-folk dance competition in which a large number of participants enthusiastically participated.
The function was presided over by Dr. S.S.Khokhar, Principal BSF Senior Secondary School Jammu while the senior faculty members also shared the dais. Competition was held in two categories viz. senior and junior. The participants showed their best and left the gathering spell bound by their scintillating performances in semi classical and the dance items be it the solo or the group dances.
The program started on 9.am with the lighting of trhe traditional lamp. Participants from Raman House, Nehru House, Gandhi House and Tagore House participated in the competition. While presenting the awards to outstanding students, Dr Khokhar appreciated the participants and the faculty members who especillay helpd in organizing such a beautiful occasion.
Akriti Uppal clinched first prize in junior category, while Megha Kalsi and Afsana stood second and third respectively. Ambika and Shivakshi Joshi bagged first and second position respectively while Shushmita stood third in senior category.
