| Stitching center at Bhaderwah, inaugurated | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Doda, Oct 23: A stitching centre was inaugurated at Bhagwah village by Renuka Guleria w/o Col VS Guleria, Commanding Officer, 10 Rashtriya Rifles (Rajput) in presence of a large gathering of villagers, village administrative officials including Surpanch, Numbardar etc.
The stitching centre has been established by 10 Rashtriya Rifles (Rajput) to give an opportunity to women from economically marginalized sections of the society to undergo training in garment stitching so as to generate self employment.
10 Rashtriya Rifles (Rajput) has provided 18 stitching machines for the stitching centre as a part of civic action initiative in Doda region.
Renuka Guleria while addressing the gathering stated that this stitching centre shall go a long way in providing a skill set to poor and marginalized womenfolk of the area to generate self employment and improve the living standards of their families.
She expressed a desire that maximum womenfolk shall take advantage of getting trained at this centre and it shall provide a small contribution to the overall development of this region.
