Doctors urge IGNOU to declare results | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Oct 23: The doctors who pursued course in Hospital and Health Management (DHHM) from the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) have urged the authorities to declare the result as soon as possible. The doctors held a meeting on Sunday asking the authorities of IGNOU to take appropriate action on the issue. The MBBS and BDS doctors told that ten months have passed when the examination for DHHM was conducted by the IGNOU’s Jammu centre, but the IGNOU has failed in declaring the result and dispatching degrees to the candidates. While officials of the local regional centre of the IGNOU claim that the marks list has been dispatched to the main office at Delhi for compilation of the result but they feign ignorance over the issue and say that they have not yet received the marks. The coordinator of the course in the medical college, Avninder Sharma, who is also superintendent of SMGS hospital said that he had dispatched the marks of practical and theory to the local centre of the IGNOU in January this year. The doctors were worried that they were losing precious time due to callous attitude of the IGNOU authorities. They were not able to fill the application forms for the post that required PGDHHM as one of its qualifications.
