| ECHS polyclinic opened for ex-servicemen | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR, Oct 23: An Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme Polyclinic has been opened at Nagrota in Kathua district, under the aegis of Headquarters Northern Command, to provide health care facilities to ex-servicemen and widows.
The ECHS polyclinic was inaugurated by General Officer Commanding, 71Sub Area Major General AK Sehgal in the presence of Brigadier Davis PP, Commander, 611 (Independent) Air Defence Brigade, Adm Commandant 71 Sub Area, Brig Randhwal, other Army officers, civil dignitaries and a large number of Ex Servicemen from the locality.
The helpline has been started with assistance from North Star Air Defence Brigade. The polyclinic which has started functioning from a temporary hired accommodation will eventually be shifted to a separate building which has been sanctioned by Ministry of Defense.
