Rajneesh’s dogri play “Jor Hartalein Daa” performed

Jammu, Oct 23: On the Ninth day of Dramatis’ Fusica-2011 organized by Aaditya Bhanu, Dir., Nav Durga Kala Manch, Rajneesh Gupta’s dogri play “Jor Hartalein Daa” was performed by Chander Bhaga Sanskriti Manch (Akhnoor) in the Performing Art Studio. The play was directed by O.P. Shakir.
The plot of the play revolved around a shopkeeper, mohan who sells things at very high rates during strikes. The situation becomes worse when he demands high rates for his items from Bansi who requires the same for the marriage of his daughter. His wife luxmi doesn’t bear it and she gives all the items of ration to bansi with the help of strike holders.
The story gives a lesson we should always cooperate each other during the period of strikes and help each other.
The artists who performed in the play which include Neeraj Bhalla, Harshad, Deepak Sharma, Kamal Kumar, Rohit Kumar, Mukesh, Shiv kumar, Chanchal Sharma, Kewal Kumar Kewal, Prem Sagar, O.P Deepak, Rashpal Verma. Make-up by Rattan Bhaderwaj, Lights by Tarun Sudershan Vasson, Music were handled by Sourav Verma and presentations were done by Tarun Sharma and Sakshi Dogra.
Lalit Magotra, president Dogri Sanstha and a well known literary person was present on the occasion as a chief guest who appreciate the efforts of Aaditya and his group.
Ganesh Digital Studio, Gandhi Nagar(Goldy Sharma), Punjabi Haveli, Suketar, and God vs. Life trust are sponsoring the event managed by Trived Management Company.
Vikram Sharma, the renowned stage director and artist, Vijay Sharma, well known theatrist and Santosh Sangra, the senior most female stage artist are the adjudicators of the event who are adjudicating the event for various categories. Rajneesh Gupta, the prominent writer of the state is giving moral support to the event.
Tomorrow, Rakesh Mayoos’s “Gandhi Ki Vaapsi”, would be performed by Yamini Cultural Society.
