| ASCOMS organizing 2-day laparoscopic workshop | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, OCTOBER 24–The Department of Surgery, Acharya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences and Hospital Sidhra Jammu is organizing the IInd ASCOMSON 2011( Laparoscopic Workshop and interactive Lectures) on 29th and 30th October,2011 at its hospital premises here at Sidhra.
The event is supported by the society of Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Surgeons of India (SELS), Indian Hernia Society & J&K Chapter of Association of Surgeons of India ( JAKASI).
The invitees among other experts, include Dr. Puntambekar S- World renowned Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgeon, Dr.M.C.Mishra, Prof. and Head of Department of Surgery at AIIMS, New Delhi and Prof. S.D Maurya, the doyan of Minimal Access Surgeons of India, who will conduct a live interactive surgical skills programme in Minimal Access Surgery with all the other surgeons attending and operating at the workshop/conference.
Latest laparoscopic procedures such as Laparoscopic Hernia repair and advanced laparoscopic cancer procedures shall be demonstrated and discussed by the faculty and attending surgeons from all over the country.
