EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 24,The jammuities as well as BJP the birthday of sher-e-duggar Pt. Prem Nath Dogra on October 23. The BJP of which Late Dogra was a front line leader and also the founder President of Bharatiya Jana Sangh ernst while name of BJP also forgot to celebrate the day yesterday which was his real birthday. However party organized a symbolic function at party headquarters at kachi chawni this morning and performed a hawan to perform the day.
If common man has forgotten the role and sacrifices of this son of the soil who throughout his life fought for nationalistic cause in the state and its total merger with union of Indian but BJP should have remembered his real birthday date as Dogra had remained the national president of BJS and veteran BJP leader L.K.Advani was on record to say that he has drawn the inspiration from Late Dogra. Neither BJP nor other Parties claiming to be champions of Dogra cause bothered to remember this verteran leader on his 127th birth anniversary which went unnoticed altogether. Even the veteran columnists from Jammu region failed to pendown any column in newspapers as a tribute to sher –e-duggar and recall his contributions.
Today we are celebrating accession week with great pomp and show and highlight the role of Dogra rulers, but this accession would have been incomplete if Pt. Prem Nath Dogra’s role is neglected, said Raman khullar a social activist Dogra was not an important leader of the state but also entire nation and it was his acumen that he was assigned the president ship of Bharatiya Jan Sangh, added Khullar.
