Hilarious comveredy Nandu Da Byah performed

Jammu, Oct. 24: On the tenth day of Dramatis’ Fusica-2011 organized by Aaditya Bhanu, Dir., Nav Durga Kala Manch, Rajneesh Gupta’s dogri play “Nandu Da Byah” was performed by Groove Arts in the Performing Art Studio. The play was directed by Aaditya Bhanu.
The plot of the comedy play based on the social theme of colleagues working in an office and wooing a female colleague only to find later that she was already married was the core theme of ‘Nandu Da Byah’.
The Dogri play full of laughter sequences’ was a light-hearted rendition by Rajneesh Gupta that aptly produced a working office environ of the contemporary settings where the colleagues often find themselves tangled in the tidbit anecdotes among themselves and land up in an embarrassing situation that creates a satirical humor in the end.
Same was the story of “Nandu Da Byah’ where the central character is often found in a quagmire to get married soon and in the process falls for one, later to realize she was already married and had two children.
Tarun Sudershan Vasson played the central character of Nandu who mesmerized the audience with his deft handling of the character.
Reetu Manhas played ‘Maa’ who added a strong feel of the character concerned over his son’s marriage. She played her role very efficiently.
Deepak Jamwal and Sakshi Dogra played the colleagues in the office to great perfection to make it a wholesome entertainer.
Dilshad Shazi, Neeru Bhardwaj, Anil Kotwal. Mudassar Bhukhari, Saurav Verma and Tarun Sharma handled all the back stage settings with great perfection.
The judges who adjudicating the event which include Vikram Sharma, well known theatrist, Vijay Sharma, well known theatrist and Santosh Sangra, the senior most female stage artist. Rajneesh Gupta, the prominent writer of the state is giving moral support to the event.
The sponsors are Ganesh Digital Studio, Gandhi Nagar(Goldy Sharma), Punjabi Haveli, Suketar, and God vs. Life trust, event managed by Trived Management Company.Tomorrow, Rajesh Kumar’s “Mughalon Ne Saltanat Baksh Di”, directed by Dhanesh Dogra would be performed.
