| Court rejects the bail application of impersonator | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, October-24:- Electricity Magistrate Jammu Balbir Lal rejected the bail application of Romu Chouhan d/o Babu Ram r/o Village Jakhwali District Sonipat Haryana who was appearing in the B.Ed Examination on behalf of one Karuna Kumari and was caught by the controller of Examination and on the complaint of the controller of the examination the police register a case against applicant u/s 419/420/467/468/109 RPC.
During the course of investigation Alka Sharma has deposed that his real name is Romu and she was appearing on behalf of Karuna Kumari d/o Mahesh Dutt r/o Rajghar, Delhi. She further disclosed that she was induced to appear in the examination on the instance of accused Sunil Kumar. The accused Sunil Kumar, Suman Rani and Romu arrested and lodged in the P/S Gandhi Nagar Jammu in pursuance remand as reported by the police.
While rejecting bail application Electricity Magistrate Jammu Balbir Lal after hearing Senior PO Harminder Singh for the State and advocate Arun Tandon for the applicant observed that accused is involved in heinous offence and the investigation is in the progress and thus bail cannot be granted at this time and same is rejected.
