| Grand Parents Day celebrated | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, October 24 : 'Grand Parents Day' was celebrated with great pomp and show on October 24, in the Junior wing of KC Public School.
The Headmistress, Sofia Rana, whole heartedly welcomed the Chief Guest, Retired Justice O P Sharma, Chairman Sudarshan Mahajan, Director, Arti Choudhary, Principal Dr. Ram Thakur, other dignitaries, parents and Grandparents.
Anshula and Divyasaransh of class Ist welcomed everyone on behalf of the school. The show began with the lighting of the lamp by the chief guest. The first item was a welcome song displayed by the toddlers of Pravesh Vatika.
This was followed by a couple of Dances put up enthusiastically by the Kindergarten Group and class 1 student. Anchoring of the show was conducted with vigour and energy by Kesar and Varalika of UKG.
The show stopper was an enactment of the great epic, 'The Ramayana' by class first students. The creativity and hard work of the pre-primary teachers and the students was much appreciated by everyone present. Indeed the parents and the Grandparents felt special by the efforts put up by the children.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Deepshikha, Arjun and Sindu of grade first. The Chief Guest, while addressing everyone, applauded the contribution of the students and the teachers.
