Dharmarth Trust distributes financial help to social, religious orgns
Employees get Diwali Bonus

JAMMU, Oct 24:Employees of the Jammu and Kashmir Dharmarth Trust will get Diwali bonus, this year. Member Parliament and Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Dharmarth Trust, Maharaja Dr Karan Singh, who is currently in Jammu in connection with the 219th Birth Anniversary celebrations of Maharaja Gulab Singh, announced this after distribution of financial help to various social and religious organizations at a function held at Shree Raghunath Ji Temple here.

Talking to media persons, he wished Happy Diwali for people of Jammu and gave first instalment of financial help of Rs 1.26 lakh to Jammu Yatri Nivas, Haridwar, Rs 12500 to Gou Rakasha Samiti, Rs 7500 to Ved Mandir Bal Niketan, Rs 5000 to Samaj Kalyan Kendra, Shaheedi Chowk, Jammu, Rs 5000 to Home for Aged and Infirm, Ambphalla Jammu, Rs 4000 to SOS Children, Channi Rama Jammu and Rs 4000 to Kussht Ashram, Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu.
Trustee Jammu and Kashmir Dharmarth Trust, MK Ajatshatru Singh was also present on the occasion.
Dr. Karan Singh also gave Rs 5000 as first prize to Shri Sanatan Dharam Natak Samaj, Jammu for displaying best tableaux competition organized by the Dharmarth Trust during Shree Ram Navmi , Raghunath Ji Rath Shobha Yatra , this year. Second prize of Rs 4000 went to Shree Ram Shakti Mandal and third prize of Rs 3000 was bagged by Shishu Kala Kendra. Consolation prizes of Rs 2000 each were given to 14 competitors.
Earlier, Dr. Karan Singh along with his son and Trustee MK Ajatshatru Singh performed Pooja at Shree Raghunath Ji main temple and other temple complexes of Shree Natraj, Maharaja Gulab Singh, Maharaja Partap Singh and newly inaugurated temple of Shirdi Sai Baba. He prayed for the early return of peace and normalcy in J&K and hoped that militancy will end ushering in era of progress and development.
President, Jammu and Kashmir Dharmarth Trust Thakur Divakar Singh was also present.
