A meeting of officers of Information Department which was also attended by writers, journalists and prominent citizens was held in the Information complex, Mubark Mandi, to pay tribute to well known writer and Editor Bargi Sabaz, Mr. Sheikh Ghulam Nabi, who passed away at Srinagar yesterday.
His contribution in the literary and journalistic field was acknowledged by the speakers who threw light on the contribution of Mr. Nabi. He was 93 years old and father of Mr. Hafiz Akhtar, Ex- DIG, Mr. Tariq Javed, a well known TV artist and Mr. Mehmood, Ex-Chief Engineer.
