| Jammu Hajj House to be completed soon: Peerzada | | | Jammu, Jan 4 Minister for Hajj, Auqaf and Education Peerzada Mohammad Sayed has said that the work on Jammu Hajj House would be completed soon, besides adequate facilties would be made available at all major Ziarats in Jammu for the convenience of visiting devotees. The Minister said this during his visit to Ziarat Baba Roshan Shah Wali Gumat here Today. He also announced that a Sarai and Bathrooms would be constructed at the Ziarat by Auqaf Department. Interacting with the management and the devotees present in the Ziarat, Minister reiterated that adequate facilities would be made available at all major Ziarats so that the visiting devotee may not face any inconvenience. He said that for this the expenditure would be borne by the Jammu Auqaf Trust. He said the Ziarats are the symbol of composite culture of the state as people of every faith come here to pay obeisance. He said “it was these Sofi saints who have taught us the secular ethos which forms the essence of our composite culture”. Responding to the other demands of the management of Roshan Wali Shah, Minister assured them that other demands would also be considered sympathetically. Earlier the Minister paid obeisance at the Ziarat and prayed for the peace and prosperity of the state, he also went round the premises. |
