| Infiltration bid foiled along Line of Control in Rajouri | | | Early times Report
Jammu, Oct 29: Days after the Army killed an intruder, yet another infiltration bid was foiled in Nowshera Sector of Rajouri district, official sources here today said.
"The troops noticed a suspicious movement of about three people along the Line of Control (LoC) near Chamba Gap in Lam area during wee hours at around 0230 hrs in Nowshera Sector of Rajouri district," official sources told UNI.
They said that the infiltrators had entered about 100 metres into the Indian territory and on seeing their movement, the Army troops fired upon them.
The troops successfully foiled the infiltration attempt and pushed them back,’’ they added.
On Wednesday, the Army had foiled an infiltration bid in the same area and killed an infiltrator when a group was trying to cross over
